Barbara Jane Trossel Paulus is a self-taught writer, photographer, and visual artist based in New York. Her award winning essay “Beaches” was published by the Cincinnati Review and she has been a finalist for the Wendy's Subway Carolyn Bush Award. She self-published the chapbook At This Time We Wish You Luck, a collection of erasure poems from rejection emails from publications, grands, and residencies. She is a former resident and caretaker of New York State’s oldest house, where she helped keep honeybees.
